Check out the full list of services that we offer in more detail below.
Group Training Classes
Training classes are run on Monday Evenings from 5.30pm at Barrington Village Hall, Near Ilminster.
Bookings are taken for a course of 6 weekly classes payable in advance and each 6 week course is £85.00.
1-2-1 Training
We are also able to offer 1-2-1 training classes which can take place at your home or "out and about". Some clients may prefer this option if they unable to commit to weekly classes and so a private lesson might be more suitable.
It is extremely important to socialise, habituate and train your puppy in basic commands. 1-2-1 training does not lend itself to the introduction of some social skills that the class environment does. So it would be expected that owners would be carrying out some socialisation and habituation training outside of the 1-2-1 lessons. Liesel will be able to advise on how to do this in a controlled and safe way and any concerns regarding behaviour in this area can be addressed early so to avoid ongoing issues.

Puppy Preparation Visit
Bringing a puppy home for the first time can be daunting. How do you make sure that your little bundle of joy has the best start in life. Where will he sleep? What sort of bed does he need? How do you choose the toys he can play safely with? Are there any breed specific food issues? Will he be toilet trained and how do I continue his training in his new home?
These are all very relevant and important considerations and only a few of the questions that will come up when bringing a new pup home.
Liesel is able to visit you at your home to chat through the imminent arrival of your new family member. She can provide advice on the best way to settle your pup in and help you implement a routine. Liesel can also advise on how to avoid bad habits devloping from the start, which can so easily occur.
This service can be extended to provide help and support with training before you are able to attend puppy classes. This can be invaluable in giving pup a basic comprehension of the training process. It will also help you and pup begin to develop the relationship that will be so very important in your understanding of each other.
